Bruna Marquezine plays Jenny Kord in DC’s 2023 film Blue Beetle, and a Brazilian entertainment report says she also recorded the character’s dialogue for the film’s Brazilian Portuguese dub. The report makes this a Brazilian localization story—not a confirmed credit for the Portugal Portuguese version.
What the report says about Marquezine’s dub
On April 3, 2023, Brazilian entertainment outlet POPline reported that Marquezine went into the studio to record Portuguese dialogue for the Brazilian dub, repeating lines for the character she plays on screen. The report is the basis for the self-dubbing detail; the official DC film page confirms her cast role but does not independently confirm that recording credit.

Which Portuguese version does this refer to?
The report concerns Brazilian Portuguese, where the film is titled Besouro Azul. “Portuguese dub” can also mean a localization for Portugal, but the available evidence does not establish Marquezine’s involvement in that version. Max Portugal’s announcement of a November 17, 2023 streaming premiere named cast members, but did not identify the dub cast.
Marquezine’s role in Blue Beetle
Marquezine plays Jenny Kord in Blue Beetle, directed by Angel Manuel Soto. The film follows Jaime Reyes, who becomes the host of an alien scarab. DC’s official film page lists Marquezine among the cast and describes the Jaime Reyes origin story.

Release context
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment announced on September 20, 2023, that Blue Beetle would be available to own on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on October 31, 2023. That announcement records the planned home-media release at the time; it does not establish current stock, edition details, or which audio and subtitle tracks are available in a particular region.
DC also announced a related Blue Beetle: Scarab War comic series and described film-inspired merchandise. Those announcements show the story’s wider franchise context, but do not confirm what products are currently available.
