Yes—the Brooklyn Nine-Nine cast reunited for dinner in March 2024 and shared photos afterward. The gathering came about two years and seven months after the series finale aired in August 2021, making “three years” a rounded description. It was a social reunion, not an announced new episode or revival.

The reports describe these attendees; they do not establish that the photo included every member of the cast.
When did the cast get together?
UPI reported that the actors attended dinner on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, and posted a group photo the following day. The series finale had aired in August 2021, according to Bleeding Cool’s March 2024 report. The reunion was therefore nearly three years after the finale, rather than exactly three years later.

What did Chelsea Peretti say about the reunion?
Peretti’s Instagram caption, reproduced by Bleeding Cool, read: “Tonite was like a very special episode where we ran thru so many memories and moments ❤️” The wording evokes the show, but the report describes a dinner and shared memories—not a filmed episode.
Was it a new episode or a revival?
No. Contemporary coverage describes a social gathering and reunion photos. The reports do not announce a reunion special, reboot, new episode, or future production. A cast photo alone is not confirmation that the series is returning.

UPI reported that Andre Braugher, who played Captain Raymond Holt, died at age 61 in December 2023, before the March 2024 dinner. He was not among the reported attendees. The coverage does not establish why any other individual was or was not present, so the photo should not be described as a complete-cast reunion.
