Brooklyn Beckham’s reported tattoos include dedications to his parents and siblings, as well as his wife, Nicola Peltz. Some have changed: in August 2026, The Independent reported that a floral design covered his “mama’s boy” tribute to Victoria Beckham, while “Dad” and “1975” were also covered. The designs and inscriptions are reported details; their personal meanings should not be treated as confirmed unless attributed to Beckham or the person whose words are tattooed.
What Brooklyn Beckham’s tattoos are reported to mean
Coverage of Beckham’s tattoos describes a collection built around family relationships. The most direct evidence of meaning comes from text identified as a dedication or reproduced message. For image-only designs, the relationship or symbolism is generally an interpretation attached by reporting, not a meaning that can be established from appearance alone.
Nicola Peltz’s handwritten note
In June 2025, The Standard reported that Beckham had tattooed a handwritten message from Peltz, written before their 2022 wedding. The paper reproduced part of it as: “Just know we can get through it all together if you breathe slow and trust.” This is the wording The Standard attributed to her note, not an independently verified complete transcription.
Tributes to Victoria Beckham
Beckham’s “mama’s boy” tattoo was described as a tribute to his mother, Victoria. By August 2026, The Independent reported that the lettering had been covered by a floral design. The paper said the bouquet was believed to be inspired by Peltz’s wedding bouquet; that is a reported inference, not a confirmed explanation from Beckham.

Tributes to David Beckham
Earlier coverage described an anchor tattoo for his father, David, with “Dad” and “Love you Bust”—“Bust” being a father-and-son nickname. The Independent reported in August 2026 that “Dad” had been covered. Elite Daily said “Love you Bust” appeared unchanged in the photos it reviewed; that account relied partly on an unnamed source.
Other family references
PAPER’s February 2026 feature describes additional family-related designs, including anchors, heart banners, nicknames, dates, initials and tributes to Beckham’s siblings. The article also offers pointed interpretations of the collection, so its descriptions are useful context rather than definitive confirmation of every tattoo’s motive.
Which tattoos have reportedly been covered or altered?
The clearest recent account is The Independent’s report of 20 August 2026. It said the “mama’s boy” tribute had been covered with a floral design, and that the word “Dad” and the date “1975” had also been covered. The report does not establish Beckham’s reasons for the changes.
Rank #2
- “Mama’s boy”: reported as replaced by a floral design; the bouquet’s supposed connection to Peltz’s wedding flowers is attributed belief, not confirmed intent.
- “Dad”: reported covered on the anchor design.
- “Love you Bust”: Elite Daily said it appeared unchanged in the photos it reviewed, unlike the “Dad” lettering.
- “1975”: reported covered by The Independent; the cited report does not establish what the date referred to or why it was covered.
A cover-up documents a visible change, not what Beckham or a family member feels about the relationship represented by the original tattoo.

There is no stable, independently verified current count in the cited coverage. Reports give different figures from different dates and scopes: a 2022 claim of 70 tattoos related to Peltz is not the same measure as later estimates of around 100 tattoos overall. Neither should be presented as a definitive current total, and the available reporting does not establish an exact number dedicated to Peltz.

How to read reports about the designs
Tattoo coverage often combines what can be seen in a photograph with claims about what a design means. The distinction matters here: an inscription attributed to a handwritten note or an explicitly reported dedication supports a clearer account than a symbolic reading of an image or a guess about why a design was changed. When describing Beckham’s tattoos, treat the visible design as reported, attribute interpretations to the outlet making them, and avoid turning a cover-up into a claim about family feelings.
