Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 is already out. Netflix released episodes 305 to 308 on June 13, 2024, completing the eight-episode third season. This guide explains what the official announcement and trailer set up for those four episodes, who made them, how they connect to Julia Quinn’s novels, and how to check the aired outcomes yourself. It does not supply a scene-by-scene recap, because the official material available for this guide establishes the premise, not the episode-level results.
Release dates and episode split
Netflix and Shondaland released Season 3 in two parts. The split is the first thing to get right, because the two halves were released weeks apart.
| Installment | Episodes | Release date | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Part 1 | 301–304 | May 16, 2024 | Netflix announcement |
| Part 2 | 305–308 | June 13, 2024 | Netflix announcement |
Those four episodes per part make up the season’s eight episodes. A June 3, 2024 Shondaland article on the trailer described Part 2 as arriving on Netflix on Thursday, June 13, which matches the announced date.
The setup Part 2 inherited
Netflix’s season announcement framed Season 3 around three connected storylines. Part 2 picks up from those setups, so it helps to know them before the finale-length run of episodes.

Colin offers to help Penelope find a husband
The central premise pairs Colin’s offer to mentor Penelope in confidence as she looks for a husband with a complication that the announcement describes plainly: his lessons work well enough that his feelings begin to change. The official setup therefore treats the Penelope and Colin relationship as a matter of changing feelings, not just a matchmaking arrangement.
Penelope’s secret as Lady Whistledown
The announcement stresses that Penelope’s growing prominence in the ton comes with the risk of exposing her identity as Lady Whistledown. That danger is the second source of tension. Netflix’s setup does not say how or when the secret is revealed in Part 2, so readers who want that answer should check the episodes directly.

The rift with Eloise
The third setup is Penelope’s conflict with Eloise. The announcement lists it alongside the Lady Whistledown risk as a complication of Penelope’s rise. Like the other two threads, its resolution belongs to the episodes rather than to the promotional material.
What the trailer emphasized
Netflix’s official trailer, released June 3, 2024, compressed the setup into a single line: “Penelope sets out to marry while hiding her secret life. But as romance and revelations collide, she must choose between her pen and her heart.” That is promotional copy rather than a neutral synopsis. It signals the choice the season builds toward, but it does not confirm which option the episodes ultimately give her.

Cast and creative team
Jess Brownell is the showrunner. The announcement lists the season regulars Nicola Coughlan as Penelope, Luke Newton as Colin, and Claudia Jessie as Eloise. No named-person interview quotation about Part 2 is established by the official material used for this guide, so this article does not attribute any behind-the-scenes statements to cast or crew.
How Part 2 relates to Julia Quinn’s novels
Netflix’s announcement credits Julia Quinn as the author of the original Bridgerton novels and describes the series as an adaptation of her books. The natural companion for readers who want to compare the two is Romancing Mister Bridgerton, Quinn’s novel that the Penelope and Colin storyline draws from in broad terms.

The adaptation link is established. Specific differences are not, so treat any claim that Part 2 follows the book exactly, or departs from it in a particular way, as something to verify. A useful comparison covers three things:
- The relationship arc: when the characters’ feelings shift on the page compared with the screen.
- The timing of revelations: when Penelope’s identity risk and the Eloise conflict surface in each version.
- Subplot emphasis: which secondary characters receive more or less room in the show than in the book.
Music in Part 2
Netflix’s music announcement says composer Kris Bowers arranged an orchestral version of a piece featured in Season 3 Part 2, and that Tori Kelly performed it at a fan wedding. Those facts support a discussion of the season’s score. They do not establish that a physical soundtrack album exists or is currently available, so do not assume one unless a retailer or label listing confirms it.

What this guide does not establish
- Episode-level outcomes. The official announcement and trailer establish the premise and the stakes for episodes 305 to 308. They do not establish how episodes 5 through 8 of the season resolve, so this article does not present a recap.
- Streaming availability. Netflix catalogs vary by country and change over time. Availability in your region is not verified here.
- Audience performance. No viewership or ratings figures are cited, because none were part of the official release material used.
How to confirm what happens in Part 2
- Open the Bridgerton title page on Netflix in your region’s catalog and select Season 3.
- Check that episodes 305 through 308 are listed under the second part, which confirms you are reading the correct installment.
- Read an episode-by-episode recap from an outlet that names the episode it covers, and compare it against the official episode descriptions.
- Mark any section you want to avoid as spoilers before reading further, since recaps typically reveal the Lady Whistledown and Eloise outcomes early.
If you are reading the novel alongside the show, finish the book chapter you are on before opening the matching episode recap. That keeps the comparison focused on the adaptation rather than on which version you already know.
