The Times quoted LaPaglia saying, “I’m still scared right now because I’m scared of him.” She also said, “This isn’t about drama for me,” adding that speaking out and not taking the money was “for anyone else that’s been emotionally abused.” These are her statements as quoted by the Times, not independent findings about the relationship.
What she said about a $12 million NDA offer
LaPaglia said she rejected a $12 million offer from Bryan’s team to sign a nondisclosure agreement. The Los Angeles Times and Fox News reported her account. The reports do not independently authenticate an offer or contract, so the figure should be understood as what LaPaglia said she was offered—not a verified payment.

When the breakup happened
Bryan announced the breakup on Oct. 22, 2024. The Los Angeles Times reported that the two had been dating since July 2023 and that LaPaglia said she was blindsided by his announcement. She made her public allegations on the BFFs episode about two weeks later.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Bryan’s representatives had not immediately responded to the outlet’s request for comment at the time its Nov. 8, 2024 story was published. A later Complex report covered LaPaglia’s comments about his silence. Complex quoted her saying, “The response itself, the silence, is deafening.” That was LaPaglia’s interpretation, not an admission or statement from Bryan.

The cited reports do not establish a direct, substantive response from Bryan to the allegations, but the publication-time account of a request for comment does not show that no response came later.
