The clip shows part of the confrontation, but the available account does not establish what led to it or who was at fault.
What the video reportedly shows
PerthNow described the cyclist trying to open the passenger door of the postie’s van. The two then argued, and the cyclist slammed the door as the postie tried to return to the van. The postie got out and became involved in a fight, the report said.
This is PerthNow’s description of the footage, not a complete account of the encounter. The video as described does not establish what happened before the recorded exchange or what followed.
What the filmer said about the lead-up
PerthNow identified Codey Lambos as the person who filmed the altercation from his apartment window and posted the video to TikTok. Lambos thought the dispute may have begun after the postie threw something that cut the cyclist, and said the driver had apparently cut him off earlier.
