Brandi Glanville said she put Nair hair-removal cream on her face while trying to address what she believed was a facial parasite, then reported that her skin was burning. The episode was reported in August 2025. The precise Nair product was not identified, and the reporting does not establish that Glanville had a parasite.
What Glanville said happened
On August 3, 2025, Glanville posted a TikTok showing facial burns after applying Nair, according to ComingSoon, which published its account the following day. The article reproduced her caption: “I did 7 minutes and I’m on fire.” The caption also said the product had burned loose skin on her arms.
Glanville said she believed exfoliating her face affected a suspected parasite. That was her explanation for using the cream, not evidence that a parasite was present or that Nair treats one. The incident coverage did not identify which Nair formulation she used, so it cannot support product-specific directions or conclusions.
What is known about her changing explanations
Glanville had discussed a suspected facial parasite and a longer-running facial problem before the Nair incident. The subsequent public accounts describe several different explanations, but the cited coverage does not establish a single medically confirmed cause.

How to understand the “face parasite” description
“Face parasite” describes Glanville’s earlier belief and the shorthand used in some coverage. It should not be read as a confirmed diagnosis. The later reports identify no clinician’s direct statement or official diagnostic record that verifies a parasite; TMZ’s December 2025 account specifically said she did not reveal the diagnosis she said she had received.
The Nair episode is therefore one part of a changing public account of Glanville’s facial-health problems—not evidence that a parasite was found, and not a recommendation to use a hair-removal product on facial skin.
