July 2025 coverage attributes the claim to an Instagram video; no sales figures or independent ranking were provided to verify it.
What dish did Bobby Flay call a best-seller?
It is lobster cavatelli at Amalfi by Bobby Flay. An AOL report republishing EatingWell coverage, dated July 17, 2025, says Flay described it in an Instagram video as the restaurant’s top-selling pasta “every single night.” The original video was not directly checked, so that wording is best treated as a secondary report of his statement, not a quotation independently verified from the video.
The report describes the dish as homemade ricotta cavatelli with spicy tomato sauce and anchovy butter. It also mentions Calabrian chile in the sauce. Those details describe the reported dish; they do not establish that it remains on Amalfi’s current menu.

Amalfi is Bobby Flay’s Italian coastal restaurant at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Flay’s official restaurant listing identifies it as Italian coastal cuisine.

When Caesars Entertainment announced the concept on October 23, 2020, it described a restaurant focused on pasta and seafood. The announcement included a lobster pasta with yellow tomatoes, basil, and Calabrian chiles, but that early menu description should not be confused with the later-reported lobster cavatelli: the sources do not establish that they are the same dish or recipe. Flay said in the announcement, “Food in Amalfi is known for two things, the fish that comes out of the water and pasta.”
How strong is the best-seller claim?
The available claim is Flay’s, as reported by the July 2025 coverage. No sales totals, time period beyond the reported “every single night” phrasing, or independent restaurant ranking were provided. It is accurate to call lobster cavatelli the pasta Flay reportedly said was Amalfi’s top seller; it would go beyond the evidence to present it as an independently confirmed sales leader.

Opening-period context helps explain why a seafood pasta fits the restaurant, but it does not verify the ranking. In a 2021 Forbes interview, Flay discussed dishes including squid ink fettuccine with lobster, shrimp, and fra diavolo sauce. That interview predates the cavatelli report and is not evidence of its later sales status.
