My Chemical Romance confirmed that former drummer Bob Bryar had died at 44. The band did not announce a cause of death, and the reporting cited here does not establish the exact date he died. News reports said his body was found at his Tennessee home the week before the news was reported.

A My Chemical Romance spokesperson confirmed Bryar’s death to the Associated Press on December 1, 2024. The band did not provide further details. In a statement quoted by AP, it asked for “your patience and understanding as they process the news of Bob’s passing.” Associated Press

Who was Bob Bryar in My Chemical Romance?
