Blink-182 opened the Australian leg of its global tour at Perth’s RAC Arena on February 8 and 9, 2024. The first schedule announced in October 2022 listed only February 9; a later itinerary added February 8, explaining why reports show two Perth dates.
When did blink-182 play Perth?
The band played RAC Arena on February 8 and 9, 2024. Perth was the opening city of the Australian leg—not the beginning of the worldwide tour, which had been scheduled to run from March 2023 through February 2024.
The October 11, 2022 announcement from Sony Music Canada described Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker as reuniting for the tour for the first time in nearly ten years. The initial Australian itinerary named Perth for February 9, then Adelaide on February 11, Melbourne on February 13, Sydney on February 16, and Brisbane on February 19.
Why were there two Perth dates?
The schedule changed after the initial announcement. A later itinerary published by Live Nation listed February 8 as well as February 9 at RAC Arena. ABC Double J’s June 13, 2023 report on the expanded tour also included both Perth dates. The available schedule records establish that February 8 appeared later, but not the exact date it was announced.

Where did the Australian tour go after Perth?
The original October 2022 itinerary continued from Perth to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, before listing Auckland and Christchurch. Later schedules expanded the Australian run to 15 arena dates, adding shows in multiple cities. Live Nation’s October 2023 itinerary also identified Rise Against as support for the Australia and New Zealand dates.
ABC Double J reported on June 13, 2023, that all but one Sydney show and the newly added Melbourne date had sold out at that time. That is a dated report, not an indication of present ticket availability.

What the 2024 Perth dates mean in the tour timeline
The 2024 Perth shows were part of a broader global tour announced in 2022, following the reunion of Hoppus, DeLonge, and Barker. The band’s announcement called it its biggest tour to that point. Sony Music Canada’s accompanying biography also said the group had sold more than 50 million albums worldwide; that figure was published by the label, rather than presented as an independently audited total.
