When did Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 come out?
Aniplex announced that the third cour, titled BLEACH 千年血戦篇-相剋譚- in Japanese, would begin broadcasting on TV Tokyo network stations and other outlets on October 5, 2024, at 23:00 Japan time. That is the Japanese television premiere date, not the streaming date. Aniplex’s September 8, 2024 announcement gives the broadcast details.
For streaming in Japan, Aniplex announced a start time of October 6, 2024, at 12:00 Japan time. The difference in dates reflects the separate broadcast and streaming schedules. Aniplex’s streaming announcement identifies the streaming start.
Where can you watch Part 3?
In a guide published December 8, 2024, VIZ Media said the season streamed weekly on Hulu in the United States and on Disney+ internationally. VIZ listed English and Spanish subtitles for Hulu in the U.S.; for international Disney+, it listed English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, German, and French subtitles. These are the regional arrangements described in that guide, not confirmation of what is currently in each service’s catalog. Check the relevant service in your location for present availability. Is Part 3 complete?
Yes. VIZ’s schedule listed a two-episode finale on December 28, 2024, in Pacific Time: episode 39 at 7:15 a.m. PT and episode 40 at 7:45 a.m. PT. The dates and times are VIZ’s listed schedule, rather than a statement about current streaming availability. VIZ’s schedule provides the finale times.
Is there a Blu-ray or DVD release?
The official anime site lists the Japanese Blu-ray and DVD release as May 28, 2025. The Blu-ray contains all episodes of the third cour across two discs (product number ANZX-15965–15966); the DVD counterpart is ANZB-15965–15966. The listing names Amazon.co.jp among retailers eligible for limited-edition purchase benefits. It does not establish current stock, an Amazon.com listing, or regional playback compatibility, so check the specific product and your player’s requirements before buying. What is The Conflict in the BLEACH series?
The Conflict is the English-language subtitle VIZ uses for Part 3 of the anime adaptation of Thousand-Year Blood War. The official series introduction names Tomohisa Taguchi as director and series composer, Masashi Kudo as character designer, Shiro Sagisu as music composer, and Studio Pierrot as animation producer.
