The new BLEACH console game is BLEACH Rebirth of Souls, and it has already launched. Bandai Namco released it on March 21, 2025, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
What is the new BLEACH game?
BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is a one-on-one action game based on the BLEACH anime, with an original story created by series creator Tite Kubo. Bandai Namco announced it at its Summer Showcase during Anime Expo on July 6, 2024, then launched it on March 21, 2025. The publisher describes combat built around character-specific abilities, spiritual power, Awakened states and signature attacks such as Bankai. Its launch roster has more than 30 playable characters, according to Bandai Namco’s launch announcement.

The game is listed for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Bandai Namco’s official game page marks it “Available Now.” Check the relevant platform store for current regional availability and listing details.
What does the story cover?
Story Mode follows Ichigo’s journey from the Substitute Soul Reaper Arc through his battle with Sosuke Aizen in the Arrancar Arc. Alongside the main story, the game includes Secret Story Mode, which adds character backstories.

What editions are available?
Bandai Namco announced Standard, Digital Deluxe and Digital Ultimate editions at launch. Deluxe and Ultimate include a season pass for four additional playable characters and other digital items; Ultimate also adds costume sets and additional Soul Crystal sets. Storefronts can differ in how they package or describe editions, so check the current listing for your platform before buying. The official game page provides retailer selection, but the available materials do not establish whether a particular retailer listing is for a physical disc or a digital copy.

Is BLEACH Mirrors High the same game?
No. BLEACH Mirrors High is a separate smartphone-game project that Bandai Namco announced in December 2025 for the App Store and Google Play. It is not the console and PC game Rebirth of Souls. See the Mirrors High announcement for that separate project.

Tamsoft Corporation is named as the developer, and Bandai Namco Entertainment is the publisher. In a December 4, 2024 PlayStation Blog post, Bandai Namco Entertainment America’s Associate Digital Marketing Manager Shokou Okano called it “the latest console game from the legendary Bleach franchise.” The post also gave the March 21, 2025 release date for PS4 and PS5; the later launch notice confirmed release on consoles and PC.
