Who plays Lady Deadpool?
Blake Lively is Lady Deadpool in the 2024 film Deadpool & Wolverine. Her cameo was confirmed in her Instagram post, as reported by GameSpot; TIME also identifies her as the performer.
The character stays masked in the film. TIME describes Lady Deadpool as leading the Deadpool variants during the confrontation in the Void, but does not identify a moment when her face is shown.
Why did Liefeld model Lady Deadpool on Blake Lively?
Comic creator Rob Liefeld said Marvel contacted him in 2009 about introducing a female Deadpool. While watching Gossip Girl, he said he and his wife were devoted to Serena, Lively’s character. He later explained the design choice in an Instagram post quoted by TVLine: “My wife and I never missed Gossip Girl, Team Serena all the way, so I gave her the blonde hair and modeled her after Blake Lively.”

That was Liefeld’s account of the character’s visual inspiration; it does not mean Lively helped create Lady Deadpool or knew about the connection at the time. In her response, also quoted by TVLine, Lively wrote: “The universe has such a magical sense of humor sometimes.”
What did Lively say about the cameo?
In an interview reported by ComicBook.com on August 8, 2024, Lively called the connection “a neat little surprise.” Her comments were reported in July and August 2024; they should not be read as a newly made statement in 2026.

Does Lady Deadpool take off her mask?
No face reveal is established in the film coverage cited here: Lady Deadpool remains masked in Deadpool & Wolverine. In a July 2024 interview with Variety, director and co-writer Shawn Levy said, “We never discussed taking off her mask. So there’s always the future.” He immediately cautioned that this was “definitely not a promise.” Levy also described the film as standalone, not as a setup for another movie, so his remark is not confirmation of a sequel or a later unmasking.
