BLACKPINK’s group tour began in July 2025 and concluded in January 2026; the group’s Deadline mini album was announced for February 27, 2026. Rosé’s comments about needing more songs and time to build a solo show were about her own future solo tour—not the group’s tour or album.
What was BLACKPINK’s 2025 tour?
YG Entertainment announced the first dates on February 20, 2025: two opening shows at Goyang Stadium in South Korea on July 5 and 6, followed by performances in North America, Europe and Tokyo. YG highlighted the planned Wembley Stadium debut and the Goyang stadium milestone in its announcement.
The itinerary grew in later announcements. On February 28, YG described a plan covering 10 cities and 18 shows, including three Tokyo dates in January 2026. Those figures captured the plan at that point, not the final tour scope. In a June 26 update accompanying the tour trailer, YG described 16 cities and 31 shows and said the Goyang opening dates would include the premiere of a new group song. The figures are YG’s published announcements, not independent attendance or ticket-sales audits.
The official tour schedule includes dates in 2025 and later shows in Tokyo and Hong Kong in January 2026. CNA reported that the tour ended on January 26, 2026, at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium. The schedule documents the itinerary; it does not establish that tickets are currently available.

When did the Deadline album come out?
The group’s Deadline mini album was announced for February 27, 2026, at 1 p.m. KST, not for release in 2025. CNA described it as BLACKPINK’s first group release in more than three years after 2022’s Born Pink; the album shares its name with the tour. The 2025 tour trailer announcement referred to a new group song premiering at the opening Goyang shows, a separate event from the 2026 mini album release announcement. What did Rosé say about a solo tour?
In comments from the Call Her Daddy Grammy special reported by CNA, Rosé explained why she did not yet feel ready to tour solo: “I feel like to create a whole world onstage, I need more time to build on that with extra songs as well, because right now we have, what 12?” She added, “And I don’t feel ready to create a whole body of work for everyone yet.”

She asked fans to be patient, saying she hoped that once she started touring, she would enjoy it enough to want to continue for a long time and did not want to “ruin that experience.” Those remarks concerned her solo ambitions, not BLACKPINK’s group itinerary.
In December 2025, Billboard Brasil also reported Rosé saying, “Em breve é a melhor palavra para isso” (“Soon is the best word for that”) and “Mas, sim, farei uma turnê [solo]” (“But yes, I will do a [solo] tour”). She expressed an intention to tour, but the report did not give a date or itinerary. The group’s completed tour and Rosé’s still-unscheduled solo plans are distinct timelines.

What Rosé has said about her solo work
In a May 29, 2025 Dazed interview about her solo record rosie, Rosé spoke about the difficulty of separating work from personal life: “Lately, it’s been hard to – what’s that word in English? – detach myself and my life from my work.” She also described learning to sit with and accept herself as “the biggest gift” she took away from making the album. YG said the earlier BORN PINK tour had about 1.8 million attendees in its February 28, 2025 update. That is YG’s reported figure for the previous tour, not an independently audited attendance count for the 2025–26 tour. The same update’s 10-city, 18-show scope was superseded by YG’s June description of 16 cities and 31 shows for the current tour.
