There is no verified ranking of Blackburn Rovers’ celebrity supporters. The seven names below are an editorial selection from public lists and reporting, chosen for wider public recognition and a documented connection to the club or its home town. Those connections are not all the same: a hometown link, a reported visit, support for a trust and regular football fandom should not be treated as interchangeable.
How to read this list
“Most famous” is subjective. The available public list of Blackburn Rovers supporters offers a pool of notable names, but it flags citation gaps and other issues; it does not provide a method for measuring or ranking fame. The Rovers Trust also names prominent people who back the supporters’ trust, which is useful local context but is not, by itself, proof that someone regularly follows the team.

For that reason, the names here are presented as notable candidates, not as a definitive top seven. A person may be linked to Rovers through fandom, a match attendance, a local connection, trust support, or another association. The evidence should determine the wording for each person.
Seven notable names associated with Blackburn Rovers
AJ Odudu
Broadcaster AJ Odudu has a clear connection to Blackburn as her home town. A 2021 Lancashire Telegraph profile quotes her speaking about what Blackburn means to her and reports that she went to Blackburn Rovers. That supports describing her as a local figure with a reported Rovers connection; it does not establish a lifelong or current supporter history.

Jim Bowen
Comedian and television presenter Jim Bowen appears among the names associated with Blackburn Rovers in the public candidate list. The list is a useful starting point, but its own citation notices mean it should not be treated as independent confirmation of the precise nature or duration of his support.
Bill Beaumont
Former England rugby captain Bill Beaumont is another public figure included in the candidate pool. His inclusion is a lead rather than a basis for claiming that he was a regular or lifelong Rovers fan; the available material does not establish that level of detail.
Lee Mack
Comedian and actor Lee Mack is named in the list of Blackburn Rovers supporters. The available sources do not provide a sufficiently precise account here to characterize whether the link reflects active fandom, a historic association or another connection.
Shawn Michaels
Professional wrestler Shawn Michaels also appears in the candidate pool. The list’s presence of his name does not, on its own, establish the circumstances or strength of a connection to the club, so it is safer to regard him as a reported association than to label him a regular supporter.
Matt Smith
Actor Matt Smith is among the public figures associated with Rovers in the available list. The material does not establish a specific pattern of match attendance or ongoing support, so no stronger claim is warranted.
Dennis Taylor
Snooker player and broadcaster Dennis Taylor rounds out this selection of recognizable names from the candidate pool. As with several other entries, the available list does not settle whether the association is current, historic or rooted in another connection to Blackburn Rovers.

Blackburn Rovers is closely associated with its town, but fame and fandom are separate questions. Someone born or raised in Blackburn may have a local connection without evidence of following the team. Going to a match establishes attendance, not necessarily ongoing support. Backing the Rovers Trust is support for that organization and its work, not automatic proof of regular football fandom.
The Trust’s page, “Ewood Park, An Asset Of Community Value”, provides supporters-trust and local context, including names of high-profile people backing the Trust. The distinction matters: an association should be described at the strength the evidence supports, rather than converted into a claim of lifelong allegiance.
Is there an objective top seven?
Not on the evidence available here. No named statistic measures the relative fame of Rovers supporters, and there is no transparent, independent ranking that establishes exactly which seven are the most famous. A defensible editorial selection can weigh broad public recognition alongside the specificity and reliability of the link to the club, while distinguishing current, historic and simply local associations. It cannot turn that judgment into a measured ranking.
The result is a useful set of names to explore, not a claim that these seven outrank every other public figure linked to Blackburn Rovers. The candidate list also includes Wayne Hemingway, Tez Ilyas and Liam Livingstone, among others, illustrating how wide the pool can be.
