The teaser description highlights Asta fighting with anti-magic alongside Liebe, Yuno leading mages against their enemies, and Nacht training Asta toward devil union. These are moments called out in the promotional material, not a complete synopsis of the season.
Crunchyroll’s Jump Festa report says the trailer and visual debuted at the event. It also reports the return of director Ayataka Tanemura, who said, “I’ll be directing again!”, and Japanese cast members Gakuto Kajiwara (Asta), Nobunaga Shimazaki (Yuno), Junichi Suwabe (Yami), Kana Yuki (Noelle), and Hiro Shimono (Nacht). Crunchyroll reports that the original anime ran from October 2017 to March 2021 for 170 episodes.
