Bilt Rewards founder and CEO Ankur Jain married former WWE wrestler Erika Hammond on April 26, 2024, in a non-denominational ceremony in front of the Great Sphinx at Giza. People’s exclusive report described a four-day celebration for 130 guests, built around the Egyptian setting rather than traditional wedding formalities.
Who are Ankur Jain and Erika Hammond?
People’s May 3, 2024 feature identified Jain as the founder and CEO of Bilt Rewards and Hammond as a former WWE wrestler and creator of KNOCKOUT at Equinox. The feature reported that they first met through Rumble Boxing, where Hammond taught and Jain worked out.
Why did they choose Egypt for the wedding?
The couple’s venue discussion began with a very different idea. Jain told People, “My first pitch to Erika for the wedding was to get married in space.” Hammond’s response was, “I don’t want to die on my wedding day!” They ultimately chose Egypt, drawn to the setting and Jain’s interest in ancient history. Hammond described the celebration as “a once in a lifetime experience.”
Jain explained that the contrast with home was part of the appeal: “We’re New Yorkers and there’s something so special about being in a completely different world environment. So we decided, our wedding is about having a moment together to celebrate the new beginning, having a really special party with our friends somewhere where you’re in a different world,”
