Eamon Sullivan had announced a handover in September after 13 years as a co-owner, saying the restaurant would continue operating. The reports do not identify the buyer or disclose the sale terms.
What happened to Bib & Tucker?
On 11 September 2025, PerthNow reported that Sullivan had announced he would hand the business to new owners. Its 12 November follow-up said the sale had happened about two months earlier. That is an approximate timeframe, not a confirmed settlement date.
When the handover was announced, Sullivan said: “The best part is that the Bib & Tucker you know and love isn’t going anywhere, the food, the staff, and the experience continue.” That was his assurance at the time of the announcement; it does not independently establish that every aspect stayed unchanged after the sale.
Who are the new owners?
The PerthNow reports reviewed confirm that Bib & Tucker was sold but do not name its purchaser or provide transaction terms. No buyer should be inferred from the other people or businesses mentioned in the coverage.

At the time of Sullivan’s announcement, PerthNow named Sullivan, chef Scott Bridger and Jamie Dwyer as co-owners. The November story said Bridger was preparing to open Pearla & Co at the former Al Lupo site nearby. That is Bridger’s next venture, not evidence that Pearla & Co bought or operates Bib & Tucker.
Is Bib & Tucker still open?
The announcement said the restaurant would continue, and Bib & Tucker’s official website currently publishes menus, booking information and operating hours. The site lists the address as 18 Leighton Beach Boulevard, North Fremantle, and hours of Wednesday–Sunday, 8am–10pm, with Monday and Tuesday closed. Restaurant schedules can change, so check the official website before visiting.

What was Bib & Tucker known for?
The restaurant is presented as a modern Australian seasonal dining venue with beach views and an emphasis on local produce. In an anniversary interview, Bridger said the original aim was to showcase Western Australian produce and described moving to a six-season menu approach because local produce timing did not fit neatly into a European seasonal calendar. These are records of the restaurant’s concept and history, not confirmation of its current menu or ownership.
PerthNow reported that Bib & Tucker opened in 2013. Its 2025 story described the venue historically as a 150-seat restaurant and said its opening included a $100,000 coal-fired rotisserie and grill; those opening-era details should not be read as current specifications.

What did the founders say about the transition?
PerthNow quoted Bridger reflecting on his time with the restaurant: “So bloody proud of what we have achieved over the years and excited for what’s next.” The report also said he was ready to “hang up the apron and close this chapter.” His remarks describe his departure; they do not identify the buyer.
