Barbara was born to Davis and William Grant Sherry

What is publicly known about the three siblings?
Barbara, also known as B.D. Hyman
Barbara later became known as B.D. Hyman. In 1989, United Press International reported that Davis’s will excluded Barbara and named adopted son Michael Woodman Merrill as a beneficiary. That report concerns a specific estate decision; by itself, it does not establish the full nature of Davis’s relationships with her children.
Margot
The Los Angeles Times and TCM report that Margot had a significant disability and received institutional care from early childhood. Those accounts do not establish a diagnosis or cause, so neither should be inferred.
Michael
TCM reports that Michael later became a lawyer in Boston. The available accounts offer limited detail about his later life.
