The best One Direction perfume depends on the scent profile you want: juicy fruit and soft florals, green apple and violet, fruit with praline sweetness, or a warmer blend of spice, patchouli, vanilla, and amber. The documented fragrance line has four releases—Our Moment, That Moment, You & I, and Between Us—but there is no substantiated all-time winner. Here is what distinguishes each one and what to check if you are looking to buy.
What are the One Direction perfumes?
The documented line comprises four fragrances launched between 2013 and 2015. The dates and release order are recorded in Eden Parfums’ launch history, alongside dated announcements on the official One Direction site. “Best” is a matter of scent preference: the available sources document launch history and descriptions, not controlled comparisons or an authoritative ranking.

Which One Direction fragrance should you choose?
Our Moment: juicy fruit, florals, and musk
The debut was announced for U.S. availability in September 2013. Macy’s contemporary launch announcement describes it as fruity-floral and lists pink grapefruit, wild berries, red currants, jasmine, frangipani, musk, and patchouli (Macy’s announcement, September 17, 2013). Choose it if that combination of juicy fruit, soft florals, and a musky base is closest to what you like.
That Moment: green apple and violet
Announced in February 2014 as a special edition of Our Moment, it retains a related fruity-floral identity but foregrounds green apple and violet. The official announcement names those distinguishing notes; Superdrug’s listing also names pink grapefruit, jasmine, musk, and woody notes (Superdrug product listing). Consider it if you want a greener, apple-and-violet direction rather than the debut’s berry emphasis.

You & I: fruit, florals, and praline
You & I was announced in June 2014. A contemporary launch report says it launched in the United States on August 6, with availability at leading retailers from August 25 (LATF USA launch report). Its listed notes include mango, grapefruit, citrus, peony, peach blossom, orchid, osmanthus, praline, musk, and sandalwood (Fragrantica note listing). Its praline and sandalwood make it the choice to investigate if you want fruit and florals with a sweeter, woody base. In the launch report, perfumer Richard Herpin described the concept as “that unique time between spring and summer when nature is in full bloom; when everything is at its peak.”
Between Us: spice, patchouli, vanilla, and amber
Announced on June 24, 2015 as the band’s latest fragrance, Between Us is the final release in the documented sequence (official One Direction announcement). Fragrantica credits Sonia Constant as perfumer and lists nutmeg, apricot, mandarin orange, jasmine, gardenia, freesia, Indonesian patchouli, Madagascar vanilla, and amber (Fragrantica reference entry). This is the one to consider if you prefer warm spice, patchouli, vanilla, and amber alongside fruit and white florals.

How do the four scents differ?
The clearest distinction is the balance between fresh fruit and green notes on one side, and sweeter or warmer base notes on the other. Their note lists also show different floral emphases. These are descriptions based on listed notes, not guarantees of how a fragrance will smell on every person.

Where can you find the older releases?
These are older releases, so an old launch announcement or product page does not establish present-day availability. As of October 8, 2026, Superdrug’s Our Moment page says the product is no longer available online, while its That Moment page says “Out of Stock” (Our Moment listing; That Moment listing). Those retailer-specific notices do not establish whether another seller has stock, or whether any fragrance is still in production.

Was Our Moment the best-selling One Direction fragrance?
Eden Parfums calls Our Moment its “2013 best selling fragrance” on its launch-history page (Eden Parfums). That is the maker’s own characterization; the page gives no sales figure, comparison set, or market definition. It does not establish a best-selling fragrance of all time or an independent ranking of the four perfumes.
