Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →For a typical Gujarati video recorded at 1080p and 30 fps, export as MP4 with H.264 video, progressive scan, SDR BT.709 color, about 8 Mbps video bitrate, and stereo AAC-LC audio at 48 kHz and 384 kbps. Gujarati speech and script do not require a special codec or bitrate; base the export on the source footage and whether it is SDR or HDR.
One important distinction: a YouTube playlist is a collection viewers can play in sequence. It is not itself a 24/7 livestream. The right export settings are similar either way, but the steps and duration limits differ.
Recommended MP4 export settings for Gujarati videos
Use this as a starting preset for ordinary 1080p SDR footage recorded at 30 fps. YouTube’s upload recommendations are platform guidance, not a guarantee of a particular visual result or a custom-tested Gujarati preset.
| Setting | Recommended starting point |
|---|---|
| Container | MP4, with the moov atom at the front (often called Fast Start); avoid edit lists. |
| Video codec | H.264, progressive scan, High Profile, 4:2:0 chroma subsampling. YouTube also recommends a closed GOP, CABAC, and two consecutive B frames. |
| Resolution and frame rate | Match the source footage. For this example: 1920 × 1080 at 30 fps. |
| Video bitrate | About 8 Mbps for 1080p SDR at 24, 25, or 30 fps. |
| Color | For SDR, use BT.709. HDR requires its own export choices and bitrate guidance. |
| Audio | AAC-LC, 48 kHz; YouTube recommends 384 kbps for stereo. |
| Aspect ratio | Use the source aspect ratio. 16:9 is standard for desktop playback; YouTube also adapts to vertical and square video. |
These specifications come from YouTube’s current encoding recommendations, accessed 2026. They are not language-specific: Gujarati narration, music, subtitles, and on-screen Gujarati text do not change the recommended codec. If fine text or detailed graphics look soft, check the source resolution and export settings rather than choosing a different language preset.

Choose bitrate by resolution and frame rate
Match the export to the footage you recorded. YouTube separates standard frame rates (24/25/30 fps) from high frame rates (48/50/60 fps) and gives distinct SDR and HDR recommendations. The figures below are for SDR; use YouTube’s separate HDR table if the material is HDR.
| Resolution | SDR, 24/25/30 fps | SDR, 48/50/60 fps |
|---|---|---|
| 720p | 5 Mbps | 7.5 Mbps |
| 1080p | 8 Mbps | 12 Mbps |
For other resolutions—including 360p, 480p, 1440p, 4K, and 8K—consult the matching row in YouTube’s encoding recommendations rather than extrapolating from 1080p. If your source was recorded at 60 fps, keep 60 fps and use the high-frame-rate recommendation; do not convert 30 fps footage to 60 fps just to select a higher bitrate row.

Export from your editor
Menu names vary by editing software, so use the following settings in its export or render panel. If a setting is not exposed, leave the editor’s standards-compliant default rather than guessing at a hidden codec parameter.
- Choose MP4 as the container and H.264 as the video codec.
- Set the export resolution and frame rate to match your source. Deinterlace any interlaced footage before exporting.
- For SDR, set color to BT.709. Select the recommended bitrate row for the chosen resolution and frame-rate category.
- Choose AAC-LC audio at 48 kHz. For stereo, use YouTube’s 384 kbps recommendation; for mono, its table recommends 128 kbps, and for 5.1 audio, 512 kbps.
- If available, enable Fast Start or “web optimized” MP4 so the moov atom is placed at the front. Avoid export options that add edit lists.
- Review the rendered file before uploading: confirm Gujarati text is legible, speech and music are clear, and the picture is not stretched or cropped.
The exact menu path and whether an editor exposes every H.264 option depend on the editor and its version. If your source resolution, frame rate, or SDR/HDR status is unknown, inspect the source-file properties before choosing an export preset.

A YouTube playlist is not a 24/7 livestream
If you mean a playlist viewers can play
A playlist groups uploaded videos and lets you arrange their order. Export each Gujarati video as a separate MP4, upload it, and add the resulting videos to a playlist using YouTube’s playlist tools. A playlist can be played continuously by viewers, but it does not create a live broadcast or make the channel appear live.
YouTube’s current upload guidance sets a maximum of 256 GB or 12 hours, whichever is less, for a single video. An account must be verified to upload videos longer than 15 minutes. See YouTube Help on upload limits.

If you mean a channel that broadcasts prerecorded videos live
That is a livestream workflow, separate from uploading a playlist. You still export the source video with appropriate MP4 settings, but a streaming encoder or cloud streaming service must send it as a live broadcast. YouTube’s archive guidance says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived; a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. Rewind can also be limited or unavailable on very long streams. Do not rely on one continuous 24-hour broadcast to create a complete archive or guarantee viewer rewind. See YouTube Help on live stream archives.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Common export and workflow problems
- Gujarati text looks blurred: check that the source and export resolution are adequate, that the export matches the intended frame size, and that no unintended scaling or cropping occurred.
- Motion looks choppy: confirm the export frame rate matches the recording. Avoid changing frame rate without a specific production reason.
- Upload processing or playback looks wrong: verify that the file is MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio, and that the export is progressive rather than interlaced.
- A video will not upload because it is too long: check the single-video limit of 256 GB or 12 hours, whichever is less, and verify the account if the video exceeds 15 minutes.
- A supposedly continuous playlist does not show as live: a normal playlist is not a livestream. Use a live broadcast workflow if viewers must see a live status.
- A long livestream has no complete archive or rewind: YouTube warns that streams over 12 hours may not be captured at all and that rewind can be limited on very long streams. Do not treat a single 24-hour live session as a dependable archive.
Copyright and monetization checks for Gujarati programming
Export quality does not determine whether you have permission to upload or broadcast the material. Before publishing a playlist or running prerecorded videos as a live stream, confirm you have the rights to the music, performances, footage, and any other included content. Gujarati devotional music, film songs, event recordings, and third-party images can still be copyrighted. Also make sure the channel’s programming provides genuine viewer value: repeatedly looping material does not by itself establish that a channel meets YouTube’s monetization requirements.
