Best 2024 LEGO NASA set for a display build: Artemis SLS
LEGO identifies Icons NASA Artemis Space Launch System (10341) as a 2024 release. Its multistage rocket is built with detachable solid-fuel boosters and an Orion module, accompanied by a launch tower, stands and a printed plaque. LEGO presents it as an adult-oriented display build. The combination of rocket and tower makes it the clearest choice in this group for someone who wants a large space-themed centerpiece rather than a rover to maneuver.

Best 2024 LEGO NASA set for hands-on features: Perseverance
Technic NASA Mars Rover Perseverance (42158) pairs a rover model with a companion Ingenuity helicopter. LEGO’s guide describes 360-degree steering, a movable arm and articulated suspension, plus an augmented-reality learning experience through the Technic AR app. Those features make it a more interactive alternative to the Artemis display model.
The AR element depends on an app experience, so check current device compatibility and app availability if that feature is important to you. The guide describes the model and app but does not establish current app support.

Best 2024 LEGO Star Wars choices by type
LEGO and Lucasfilm marked 25 years of LEGO Star Wars in 2024. StarWars.com’s January 30 announcement named Starship Collection builds inspired by the Millennium Falcon and Invisible Hand, two Tantive IV-inspired builds, and a special anniversary R2-D2 set.
