For a PC-based 4K60 YouTube livestream, the Zotac GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB is a defensible pick if you can confirm it is available at or below ₹50,000. YouTube supports AV1, and NVIDIA’s OBS guidance recommends Hardware (NVENC, AV1) for YouTube on RTX 40 Series GPUs. That makes the card a practical fit—not a proven image-quality winner over every alternative. A 4K60 stream still depends on your source, upload connection, software settings and system stability.
Which graphics card fits the budget?
A GPU recommendation is only useful if the exact card is in stock at a price that fits your budget. GPU PRIX listed an RTX 4060 Ti 8GB at ₹49,990 on Amazon India on October 3, 2026. PcPaisa’s tracker, accessed the same date, showed Zotac RTX 4060 Ti 8GB variants at ₹50,000. These are price snapshots, not guaranteed prices for a specific SKU; check the listing, stock, delivery charges and warranty before buying.

Do not choose on gaming benchmarks alone: they do not establish which card produces better stream encoding. The available evidence does not include an independently verified, comparable test of AV1 image quality between these two GPUs. Compare the codec options in the software you will use, stability while other GPU work is running, local price and availability, and compatibility with your PC. If you also game or render, weigh those workloads separately.
Set YouTube’s 4K60 ingest settings
YouTube’s live-stream settings support H.264, H.265/HEVC and AV1 video at up to 60 fps. For 4K/2160p60, its recommended bitrate is 35 Mbps for AV1 or H.265 and 50 Mbps for H.264. It specifies constant bitrate (CBR) and recommends a two-second keyframe interval; the interval should not exceed four seconds. YouTube recommends RTMPS for secure delivery. #1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Choose the codec. For an SDR stream on an RTX 40 Series card in OBS, NVIDIA’s guidance is to select Hardware (NVENC, AV1). YouTube also accepts H.264 and H.265, so confirm that your software and ingest configuration use the codec you intend.
- Set resolution and frame rate. Configure 3840 × 2160 at 60 fps only if the source and the PC can sustain it. A 4K60-capable GPU cannot turn lower-resolution or lower-frame-rate source material into genuine 4K60 detail.
- Set bitrate and rate control. Use CBR and YouTube’s recommended bitrate for the chosen codec: 35 Mbps for AV1/H.265 or 50 Mbps for H.264 at 4K60. Treat these as YouTube recommendations, not a guarantee that your upload connection can sustain the stream.
- Set keyframes. Use a two-second keyframe interval, keeping it at or below YouTube’s stated four-second maximum.
- Use RTMPS and the correct stream key. Select RTMPS where your encoder offers it, and enter the stream key for the intended YouTube broadcast. Keep the key private; anyone with access to it may be able to send a stream to your channel.
SDR and HDR are not the same codec decision
For SDR, YouTube specifies Rec. 709 and 8-bit. Its documented live settings do not support AV1 for HDR and recommend H.265/HEVC instead. If you intend to broadcast HDR, verify the complete HDR configuration in YouTube’s current settings rather than applying the SDR AV1 recommendation. YouTube Help: live encoder settings
What “playlist” means for this GPU choice
This recommendation concerns encoding a live video signal at 4K60. If by “playlist” you mean a continuous broadcast of pre-recorded videos, the source files, playback software and unattended scheduling setup also matter; the GPU recommendation alone does not configure a 24/7 playlist. If you mean a playlist as the content source for a stream, check that your playback and encoder pipeline outputs 3840 × 2160 at 60 fps and keeps the selected bitrate and codec stable.

Check the whole streaming system
The GPU is only one part of the path from source file to YouTube. Before committing to a card, check:
- Upload capacity: Your connection must sustain the chosen bitrate consistently, with headroom for normal variation. An unstable or insufficient upload can interrupt or degrade a stream regardless of GPU.
- Source and playback: Confirm the actual video is 4K and 60 fps if that is the output you expect. Upscaling does not restore detail or motion information absent from the source.
- PC compatibility: Check the exact card’s dimensions against your case and its power requirements against your supply and available connectors.
- Concurrent workload: Test playback and encoding with the other work you expect to run. A stream can fail to hold its target settings even when a graphics card supports the codec.
- Channel and content readiness: Set up the YouTube live broadcast and encoder connection, and ensure you have rights to the material you stream. A technically valid signal does not resolve copyright or channel-policy issues.
Common problems and what to check
- YouTube does not receive a stream: Verify the selected RTMPS server and stream key, then confirm the encoder is actually running. If you regenerate the key in YouTube, update it in the encoder too.
- The stream drops or buffers: Check upload stability at the configured bitrate first. Reduce the output bitrate or resolution if the connection cannot sustain the target reliably.
- The broadcast is not 4K60: Inspect the source resolution and frame rate, playback output, encoder settings and YouTube ingest status. A GPU’s support for encoding does not guarantee each upstream stage is configured correctly.
- AV1 is unavailable: Confirm the GPU, driver and streaming software expose AV1 encoding, and that the stream is SDR. YouTube’s documented HDR settings do not support AV1.
- Output stutters under load: Check whether playback, encoding or another GPU task is saturating system resources. Compare stability under the actual workload rather than relying on codec support alone.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your goal is to keep a YouTube playlist live rather than encode a camera or PC session, StreamNeo is a cloud option: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live.
