The film imagines a political upheaval restoring the monarchy in Brazil, turning snack-bar cook Tina into a queen—and setting up a comic rivalry for her affection.
What is Caindo na Real about?
Directed by André Pellenz, Caindo na Real is a 2024 Brazilian comedy distributed by Elo Studios. Its Brazilian theatrical release was 24 October 2024, and the Brazilian Academy of Cinema lists its runtime as 90 minutes. The original screenplay is credited to Bia Crespo and Charlie Droves. The Academy’s film entry sums up its satirical outlook: “Sabe o que as histórias da Tina (Evelyn Castro) e do Brasil têm em comum? O fato de que pior que tá, não fica.”

The monarchy and political upheaval are fictional parts of the comedy’s premise, not real events in Brazil. Tina (Evelyn Castro) is a busy snack-bar cook who is declared queen after a coup restores the monarchy. That sudden change in status collides with her everyday life and with the romantic attention of two very different men.
Who does Belo play?
Belo plays Barão, a pagodeiro who pursues Tina romantically. His rival is Prince Maurício, played by Victor Lamoglia. The contrast between Barão and the prince gives the romance a comic dimension: Tina’s new royal position does not simply resolve the question of whom she wants.
#1 Best Overall
Coverage describes the role as Belo’s cinema acting debut. That distinction matters: the available sources support a debut in films, not a claim that this was his first acting role in any medium.
How does the film connect Belo’s music and acting?
The music link extends beyond Barão’s identity as a pagodeiro. A September 2024 report says Belo and Evelyn Castro perform “Minha Rainha,” a theme song created for the story. It connects the film’s central pairing to a song, but the report does not establish that a physical soundtrack was released.
