Believe inaugurated a new headquarters in Rio de Janeiro on April 18, 2024, and outlined priorities for its business in Brazil: expanding urban music, professional training, and broadening its catalog with Brazilian artists. The company did not disclose a monetary budget for the initiatives.
Where and when Believe opened its new headquarters
The opening took place at Le Monde Offices in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. Believe described the office as more than 250 m² and said the space would strengthen its infrastructure for supporting artists and independent labels. Believe’s company-authored post gives the location and area; POPline.Biz’s May 2, 2024 report dates the inauguration to April 18.
POPline reported that the event brought together artists, music-industry guests, and Believe executives, including Alejandra Olea, Viktoria Siniavskaia, and Jaime Costa. Performers included members of Gilsons, João Gomes, Kadu Martins, Iguinho and Lulinha, as well as DJs.
What Believe said it would invest in
Believe Americas managing director Alejandra Olea described investment across several parts of the Brazilian business, with a particular focus on expanding urban music. POPline also reported professional training and catalog diversification through Brazilian artists as priorities. These are announced areas of focus, not separately quantified commitments: the report gives no budget, allocation, or spending schedule.
- Urban music: expanding activity in the genre was singled out as a particular focus.
- Professional training: developing professional skills was included among the stated priorities.
- Catalog diversification: adding Brazilian artists was presented as a way to broaden the catalog.
Artists, label relationships, and the office’s intended role
POPline reported that Believe had recently added Portugal no Beat, Cryzin, Grego, Marquinho no Beat, and Giana to its urban-music roster. The same report said Xirê, which manages Gilsons and Rachel Reis, renewed its partnership with Believe.
Jaime Costa, Believe Brazil and Portugal general manager, said the new headquarters would create more opportunities for workshops, larger work sessions, special events, and client visits. Those are intended uses described by the company; the announcement does not establish how often they have occurred or what results they produced.

What the announcement does—and does not—establish
The announcement documents a new Rio workspace and strategic priorities for Believe in Brazil. It does not state a total investment amount or provide figures that would allow readers to compare funding across the priorities. The office’s stated area is the only specific numerical measure of scale in the reviewed announcement.

In a separate press release dated July 16, 2026, Believe named Marcela Moreira Brazil Country Director, with responsibility for Artist Services, Label & Artist Solutions, and TuneCore. This is later organizational context; it should not be read as part of the April 2024 opening announcement or as evidence of a new investment amount. Believe’s July 2026 release describes the appointment.
