There is no verified ranking of the most expensive sneakers in Ed Sheeran’s collection. GQ Taiwan names ten models in a collection roundup, but gives no prices or valuation method. Its list can identify pairs associated with Sheeran; it cannot establish which cost the most or confirm that he still owns every pair.
What the ten-sneaker list actually tells us
GQ Taiwan’s roundup names the following models in this order. The order is the publication’s list order, not a price ranking. These are useful product names, not evidence that one pair is the collection’s most valuable. A defensible price comparison would need a stated marketplace and date, plus details such as size, condition, and authentication; the roundup supplies none of those.
What Sheeran has said about the sneakers he likes
In a 2014 interview with British GQ, Sheeran described comfort as a reason for his preferences. He said he owned a few designer trainers but found them uncomfortable, while Nikes felt comfortable and “squishy”; he also said Jordans were his main choice and that he liked Yeezys for their comfort. A custom sneaker for the Mathematics tour
Custom Sneakers Schweiz says Sheeran’s management commissioned a Swiss tour sneaker during the Mathematics tour. According to the maker, it used an Air Jordan 4 Retro “Black Cat” as its base, then added tour symbols and album colors by hand over four days. The maker says Sheeran wore it on stage and recalls his reaction as, “This is beautiful.” That account comes from the maker; the source does not independently record the reaction. Can any of these be called his most expensive sneakers?
Not on the available evidence. None of the cited sources reports what Sheeran paid, establishes current market values, or offers a collection valuation. The ten-model roundup therefore answers which models GQ Taiwan names, but it does not answer which pair is the most expensive.
