The Crown alleges he killed Jesse Baird and Luke Davies at Baird’s Paddington home on 19 February 2024. The defence denies murder and says the deaths occurred during struggles over a firearm, raising self-defence. The latest reviewed report, published by ABC News on 2 October 2026, described the trial as underway; it did not report a verdict.
