Combat and stealth
Combat translates Arkham-style encounters into physical VR actions, while stealth lets Batman approach enemies from concealment and use takedowns. Android Central praised the combat and VR mechanics, but found fighting awkward while seated. How long is Batman: Arkham Shadow?
Android Central estimates the story at 10–15 hours, with challenge missions beyond the campaign. Is it worth playing?
For a Quest 3 or Quest 3S owner who wants a story-led Batman game in first-person VR, Arkham Shadow offers more than a short VR showcase: it brings together a campaign, investigation, stealth, traversal, gadgets, and combat. Android Central praised its story and voice work alongside its combat and VR mechanics, while noting seated-combat awkwardness and weaker navigation tools. Those trade-offs make comfort and your tolerance for VR movement worth considering alongside your interest in the Arkham series.
It is a less obvious fit if you want the conventional third-person Arkham perspective, need Quest 2 compatibility, or expect every fight to work comfortably from a seated position.
