No dollar salaries or contracts are cited in the available reports, so the figures remain Streisand’s account rather than independently verified compensation records.
What Streisand said about her pay
In a June 23, 2025 interview with Variety, Streisand said she had not received what the other people on Meet the Fockers were paid and was still angry about it. Us Weekly quoted her saying, “Oh, my God. They’d have to pay me a lot of money because I didn’t get paid what the other people got paid, and so I’m pissed off.” She added, “I was in the time when women were getting paid less than the men.” (Us Weekly, June 23, 2025)
The remarks arose as Streisand discussed a possible return to the franchise, including Ariana Grande and whether she might reprise her role as Roz Focker. Her comment referred broadly to “the other people”; it did not name every person she was comparing herself with.
What her memoir said about Dustin Hoffman
A 2023 report on Streisand’s memoir My Name Is Barbra gives the more specific comparison. The Daily Beast reproduced her account: “I didn’t ask what the other actors were making, but I was definitely hurt when I found out that Dustin was getting three times as much as me, plus a tiny percentage, which is significant on a movie that made $520 million.” (The Daily Beast, 2023)

That is Streisand’s description of what she learned about the compensation—not a published salary record. The $520 million figure is the gross she referenced in that memoir passage, as reported by The Daily Beast. The reports do not provide the dollar amount of her salary, Hoffman’s salary, or the percentage.
What is known about the bonus check
Us Weekly also reported that Streisand said Ron Meyer, then head of Universal, sent her a bonus check after her role in the franchise. She called the gesture “very sweet.” The report does not state the bonus amount or explain whether it changed the original compensation arrangement. (Us Weekly, June 23, 2025)
