Barbara Jankavski Marquez, the Brazilian influencer known as “Human Barbie” and “Boneca Desumana,” was found dead in São Paulo on November 2, 2025, aged 31. São Paulo’s Public Security Secretariat initially attributed her death to intoxication by an unspecified chemical substance. A later report by RedeTV! described a more specific finding involving cocaine, alcohol and cocaethylene, but the underlying forensic report and an official confirmation of that account were not available in the sources cited here.

On May 6, 2026, RedeTV! reported that an examination conducted after Jankavski’s exhumation attributed her death to cocaine-and-alcohol intoxication involving cocaethylene, which the outlet said resulted in a fatal heart attack. This is a more specific account than the initial public finding, but RedeTV!’s report is secondary coverage: the underlying forensic document and an official primary-source confirmation were not available in the sources cited here. The later account should therefore be attributed to RedeTV!, rather than presented as independently confirmed.

Those details are reported observations and accounts, not proof of how the injuries occurred or of criminal responsibility. CNN Brasil also reported that a witness said Jankavski had slipped and fallen, causing the eye injury. The available reporting does not establish that explanation as a definitive finding.

Not in the reporting cited here. CNN Brasil reported that police requested a necropsy and toxicology examination and initially treated the death as suspicious.
