Who Trigg Kiser was
Trigg was three years old when he died on May 18, 2025, after a drowning incident at his family’s home in Chandler, Arizona. What Emilie Kiser said later
In a public statement reported on August 28, 2025, Emilie Kiser wrote, “Trigg is our baby and our best friend.” She also said, “I take full accountability as Trigg’s mother, and I know I should have done more to protect him.”
Kiser identified a specific safety lesson in that statement: “One of the hardest lessons I carry is that a permanent pool fence could have saved his life, and it’s something I will never overlook again.” These remarks came nearly three months after Woods’s June video and are Kiser’s own words, not an explanation of Woods’s pendant. What authorities said about the case
In July 2025, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office announced it would not charge Brady Kiser. ABC News reported that County Attorney Rachel Mitchell said, “After careful review of the evidence submitted by Chandler PD, it was determined this case does not meet that standard.” The office’s stated standard was whether the case had a reasonable likelihood of conviction.
