Yes, in the sense that Eren caused it; no, in the sense that he did not physically attack her himself. Chapter 139 reveals that Eren redirected Dina Fritz’s Titan away from Bertholdt, so Dina reached Carla Yeager and killed her instead.
What happened to Carla?
Dina Fritz, the Titan later known as the Smiling Titan, physically killed Carla. In the final conversation between Eren and Armin, Eren explains that he intervened to keep Dina from killing Bertholdt because Bertholdt was not supposed to die at that point. Dina passed Bertholdt and went to Carla instead. The Chapter 139 summary and a secondary explanation of the reveal describe this sequence.

The causal chain is: Eren intervened, Dina passed Bertholdt, and Dina reached and killed Carla. So Eren did not kill Carla with his own hands, but his intervention caused her death.
Why the answer depends on what “kill” means
If “kill” means the person who physically attacked Carla, the answer is Dina. If it means who set the events in motion, the answer is Eren. “Eren caused his mother’s death” is the clearest concise description of the Chapter 139 reveal.

The official anime site says Isayama requested a small redraw of part of the finale’s ending storyboard. That announcement confirms a revision to the anime ending, but does not say that the Dina-and-Carla reveal itself changed. The official announcement should not be treated as evidence of a specific change to this scene.
