Martha Higareda y Lewis Howes se casaron el sábado 8 de febrero de 2025 en Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo. La celebración combinó atuendos formales con detalles mexicanos como papel picado, mariachi y alebrijes, según la cobertura de People en Español, ¡HOLA!, El Universal y El Financiero, todas publicadas el 9 de febrero de 2025, salvo la retrospectiva de ¡HOLA!, fechada el 15 de diciembre de 2025.
Cuándo y dónde se casaron
La boda se celebró el sábado 8 de febrero de 2025 en Playa del Carmen, en el estado de Quintana Roo. ¡HOLA! identificó el hotel Fairmont Mayakoba como sede. Otras notas sitúan la boda de forma más general en Playa del Carmen o en la Riviera Maya, por lo que el nombre del hotel procede de una sola fuente.
Según ¡HOLA!, Martha Higareda explicó la elección del lugar con estas palabras: “Decidimos hacerlo en Mayakoba, porque es la tierra donde nos conocimos”. La frase es una declaración atribuida a la actriz y se reproduce tal como la publicó la revista.
