Para la segunda temporada, en 2024, Telemundo anunció un nuevo diseño y más de 50 cámaras y micrófonos. Las descripciones corresponden a ediciones distintas, por lo que conviene separar lo mostrado en cada año.
Qué espacios se ven dentro de la hacienda
En julio de 2023, antes del estreno de la primera temporada, Carlos Adyan recorrió la propiedad para Telemundo. La crónica de People en Español identificó habitaciones de los concursantes, el despacho de El León, el cuarto de los sentenciados y la sala de votaciones. El recorrido de Telemundo también muestra o nombra el salón y la arena.
- Habitaciones: los espacios donde se alojan los participantes.
- Despacho de El León: el espacio asociado con la autoridad que dirige el juego.
- Cuarto de los sentenciados: un área vinculada al proceso de eliminación.
- Salón y áreas comunes: espacios compartidos dentro de la convivencia.
- Arena: zona destinada a los desafíos.
- Sala de votación: el lugar donde se realizan votaciones del formato.
People en Español describió la locación de 2023 como una antigua hacienda acondicionada para el reality. Según esa publicación, el terreno tenía unos 70.000 metros cuadrados y la arena exterior superaba los 700 metros cuadrados.
Qué cambió para la segunda temporada
La información de producción anunciada en 2024 se refiere a la segunda temporada, no necesariamente a la versión que aparece en el recorrido de 2023. Telemundo indicó que la hacienda ocupaba 17 acres y que el interior y el exterior recibieron un nuevo diseño. También señaló que había más de 50 cámaras y micrófonos para captar lo que ocurría en el área del programa. El anuncio de Telemundo sobre la segunda temporada y la cobertura de PRODU atribuyen estos detalles a esa edición.

Las cifras son datos publicados para temporadas diferentes, no mediciones independientes que permitan concluir que se trata de dimensiones idénticas o comparar directamente cada versión de la propiedad.
Cómo encaja la hacienda en el formato
En Los 50, los participantes conviven aislados del exterior mientras afrontan desafíos y eliminaciones bajo la autoridad de El León. Al presentar la segunda temporada, Telemundo describió habitaciones y áreas comunes compartidas, además de la ausencia de celulares y redes sociales. Esa combinación convierte la hacienda en alojamiento y escenario de la competencia. La descripción oficial de la primera edición también presentó el programa como adaptación estadounidense de The Fifty, formato creado por Banijay Productions France y producido para Telemundo por EndemolShine Boomdog. El anuncio de Telemundo de junio de 2023 identificó a El León como maestro del juego.

¿Se puede visitar la hacienda?
Las fuentes disponibles muestran recorridos para televisión, pero no publican una dirección para visitantes ni anuncian que la propiedad esté abierta al público. Ver la hacienda en pantalla no equivale a tener acceso turístico; tampoco se establece quién es el propietario ni cuál es el uso actual del inmueble.
