The 2025 ARIA Awards brought Australian music’s biggest night to Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Wednesday, 19 November. English singer Olivia Dean made her first ARIA Awards performance with “Man I Need,” while Amyl and The Sniffers and Ninajirachi led the night’s winners. Marie Claire reported that Dean arrived in a custom Richard Quinn gown before changing for her performance.
What did Olivia Dean wear to the ARIA Awards 2025?
Marie Claire reported that Dean wore a custom Richard Quinn gown created with her stylist, Simone Beyene. The design reimagined Look 9 from Quinn’s Spring 2026 collection. The report described a drop-waist bodice with black beads arranged in floral motifs, an oversized rosette with ivory petals and a velvet bow, and a voluminous taffeta skirt with a bubble hem and high-low silhouette.
For accessories, Marie Claire reported that Dean wore gold hoop earrings, a Cartier bangle and pointed Jimmy Choo pumps. She later changed into Rachel Gilbert’s gold Posie Mini for her performance.
Who won at the ARIA Awards 2025?
Amyl and The Sniffers had the most wins, taking home four awards, including Album of the Year for Cartoon Darkness. Ninajirachi won three awards: Best Solo Artist, the Michael Gudinski Breakthrough Artist award and Best Independent Release for I Love My Computer.

ARIA’s official recap also named Troye Sivan the winner of Best Australian Live Act, Dom Dolla the inaugural recipient of the Global Impact Award, and Tame Impala a two-award winner.

The ceremony took place on Wednesday, 19 November at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Gadigal land, according to ARIA. The association announced 29 award categories for the event.

What did Olivia Dean do at the ceremony?
Dean performed “Man I Need.” ARIA described it as her first performance at the ARIA Awards. In its 2025 coverage, ARIA reported that Dean had more than 4.5 billion global streams and 236 million career streams in Australia; the coverage did not specify a measurement date or methodology for those figures, so they should not be read as current totals.
ARIA CEO Annabelle Herd said in the official recap: “Tonight shows just how extraordinary Australian artists are when they are given a global platform to shine.” Herd also highlighted the night’s collaboration among soul and R&B artists, Dean’s appearance and Dom Dolla’s recognition, saying these moments showed that “Australian music is being heard louder than ever.”

For the 2025 ceremony, ARIA scheduled the red carpet for 7.00pm AEDT on 10 and the live awards stream for 5.00pm AEDT on Paramount+. These were event-day broadcast plans, not information about current viewing availability.
