Netflix Tudum said both Mad Max: Fury Road and Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga were streaming on Netflix in the United States on December 30, 2024. That dated announcement does not confirm either film is still available in the US today, October 8, 2026, or in any other country. Check the Netflix catalog for your region before planning a double feature.
What Netflix confirmed—and what it did not
In an article published December 30, 2024, Netflix Tudum author Erin Corbett wrote: “You can stream both Mad Max and Furiosa on Netflix in the US right now.” The statement confirmed US availability at the time of publication; it is not a current catalog check. Netflix Tudum’s announcement

As of October 8, 2026, the available evidence does not establish whether both films remain playable on Netflix in the United States. Nor does the US announcement establish availability in other countries. Streaming rights and catalogs can vary by region and change over time, so search Netflix in the country where you plan to watch.
How the films fit together
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is the prequel story to Mad Max: Fury Road. Netflix describes Fury Road as a story of Max and Furiosa joining forces to escape Immortan Joe; Furiosa follows Furiosa’s origins and her conflict with Dementus. If both are available to you, watching Furiosa first follows the story chronology, while Fury Road came first in release order.

If either film is missing from your Netflix catalog
Warner Bros. lists physical 4K UHD editions for both films. These are optional alternatives for viewers who would rather own a disc than rely on a changing streaming catalog; availability, retailer stock, prices and regional compatibility were not verified here. Check the edition and player compatibility before buying. Warner Bros.’s Mad Max: Fury Road formats and Warner Bros. Japan’s Furiosa formats list physical releases.
