Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards are still estranged; the latest reported encounter between them did not include a conversation or reconciliation. Their friendship remains unrepaired, though the public record does not show a new blowup in 2026. The sticking point is an apology: Lisa has said Kyle would need to acknowledge she was wrong, while Kyle has indicated she will not apologize.
Why haven’t they made up?
Lisa has described the friendship as something she misses, while drawing a line between missing what they once had and wanting to repeat how it ended. In an April 2025 interview on Bravo’s Hot Mic, she said, “I miss what we had, but not the path it went down,” and said reconciliation would require Kyle to approach her honestly and acknowledge wrongdoing. Lisa also said the accusation that she had lied was a dealbreaker for her. Bravo’s report on Lisa’s comments quoted her as saying, “I’m indifferent with her.”

Kyle’s earlier response suggests the two have not resolved that condition. Bravo reported in March 2025 that Kyle was generally open to making up but was not going to apologize, replying to Lisa’s request: “So don’t hold your breath. Happy holidays.” Bravo’s account of the exchange makes the impasse clear: openness to a reunion is not the same as taking the step Lisa says she needs.
What happened in their latest reported encounter?
In November 2025, Kyle said she saw Lisa and Ken Todd at the Beverly Hills Hotel. As Ken was leaving, Kyle called out, “Goodbye, Ken!” Lisa later told Us Weekly that she and Ken had not heard her. The December 7 report describes a brief encounter, not a conversation between Lisa and Kyle or a reconciliation. Bravo’s report on the run-in gives both accounts.

What have Lisa and Kyle said about each other?
Kyle’s remarks in October 2025 were less combative than the earlier apology exchange, but they did not signal that the friendship had been restored. “Listen, LVP and I have had our issues, and, obviously, you know, in doing a show like this, it doesn’t always bring out the best in people,” she said, while also describing Lisa as having “many great, great qualities.” Bravo reported Kyle’s comments without reporting a reconciliation.
How did the friendship break down?
The rupture played out during Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, amid the PuppyGate controversy. Dorit Kemsley had adopted a dog named Lucy Lucy Apple Juice from Vanderpump Dogs; after the dog was rehomed and ended up at a shelter, a story about the situation reached Kyle and Teddi Mellencamp. Kyle confronted Lisa over suspicions that Lisa had leaked the story to portray Dorit negatively. Lisa denied leaking it; the accusation was not independently established in the reports.

“Still feuding” is a fair shorthand for a relationship that remains unresolved, but the latest cited reports support a more precise description: the former friends are estranged, and no public reconciliation has been reported. Lisa has left the possibility conditional on an apology; Kyle has not said she will give one. Their recent remarks and the hotel encounter do not establish renewed hostility or a repaired friendship.
