The announcement listed premiere dates for the series, but no Apple TV streaming date for Eternity. Those dates are now past; the schedule below reflects what was announced at the time, not independent confirmation of each release.
What were the five Apple TV premieres in the 2025 announcement?
The lineup combined a hijacking thriller, a comedy-drama, a mystery-thriller, a monster-franchise series and a romantic comedy. Four were returning series; Eternity was the sole feature film.

|---|---|---|

| Shrinking, season 3 | Returning comedy-drama series | January 28, 2026 |

What did the announcement say about each title?
Hijack season 2
The second season was scheduled for January 14, 2026. Follow-up coverage described a new crisis aboard a Berlin underground train, with episodes planned weekly through March 4. Apple’s season summary, reproduced by 9to5Mac, says: “In the thrilling second season of ‘Hijack,’ a Berlin underground train and its commuters are taken hostage, while, above ground, authorities scramble to save hundreds of lives. Sam Nelson (Elba) is at the heart of the crisis on board, where one wrong decision could spell disaster.” (9to5Mac’s December 2025 announcement coverage; follow-up coverage of season 2.)
Shrinking season 3
The announcement listed January 28, 2026, and follow-up coverage scheduled weekly episodes through April 8. Apple’s series description, reproduced by 9to5Mac, says: “‘Shrinking’ follows a grieving therapist who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives … including his own.” (announcement coverage; follow-up coverage of season 3.)

The Last Thing He Told Me season 2
The series was scheduled for February 20, 2026. Follow-up coverage said the season is based on Laura Dave’s sequel novel, The First Time I Saw Him. The novel is source material; it is not the streaming series itself. The follow-up report described the book as forthcoming in January 2026, a date that has passed. (announcement coverage; follow-up coverage of season 2.)
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2
The 2025 announcement listed February 27, 2026. It supplied a premiere date but little additional season detail, so the announcement alone does not establish a plot summary or release cadence. (announcement coverage.)

Eternity
The unexpected fifth title was Eternity, an A24 romantic comedy starring Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller and Callum Turner. It had recently played in theaters, but the announcement article did not state an Apple TV streaming date. A suggested February 13 date in that coverage was the author’s speculation, not an Apple announcement. (announcement coverage.)

The four series dates are historical schedule information from reporting published in December 2025. They should not be read as upcoming releases, nor as confirmation that each title arrived exactly on schedule. The cited coverage does not independently verify completed releases, schedule changes, or regional availability. It also provides no Apple TV streaming date for Eternity; check Apple TV’s current listing for availability rather than treating the film as part of the dated series schedule.
