Apple announced a packed 2026 slate for Apple TV, including new and returning series and a plan to debut new originals each week. Several major releases have already premiered, while Apple’s press index also lists fall titles such as Slow Horses season six and Dark Matter season two. Here’s what to watch, with announced dates and release status kept distinct.
Apple TV’s 2026 slate at a glance
On February 3, Apple said it planned to debut new original programming each week in 2026, alongside returning series, films and live sports. That was the company’s programming plan, not a guarantee that every release would land on its originally announced date. Apple’s schedule spans science fiction, comedy and drama, with several seasons already released by October 8, 2026.
| Title | What it is | Release status and schedule announced by Apple | Episodes |

Silo season three
Silo returned for a ten-episode third season beginning July 3, with weekly releases announced through September 4. Apple says the season continues the underground society’s story and adds an origin story set centuries earlier. The season-three announcement provides those details.

What Apple lists for fall 2026
As of October 8, Apple’s press index listed fall releases including Slow Horses season six, Last Seen, Dark Matter season two and The Sisters Grimm season two. The index does not, in the information available here, establish a complete schedule or provide enough detail to compare their episode counts and premiere dates. Because listings and catalog status can change, consult Apple TV Press for the latest announcements.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Does “hot streak” mean Apple TV is outperforming?
It’s a fair description of a busy release calendar, not a demonstrated performance ranking. The cited Apple announcements establish a number of new and returning titles, but they do not provide audience figures or an independent measure showing that Apple TV is on a platform-wide hot streak. The episode counts are programming details, not ratings or viewership statistics.
