The footage was associated with The Wiggles’ appearance alongside Keli Holiday at the 2025 TikTok Awards. The group said the awards performance, which included “Dancing2,” was family-friendly, and distinguished it from the separately edited clip. ABC News and The Guardian reported the group’s account.
Why did it prompt accusations?
The combination of Wiggles performers, a song titled “Ecstasy” with a drug reference in its quoted lyric, and the caption led some viewers to interpret the clip as suggesting the group endorsed drug use. That was an accusation prompted by the edit, not proof of the performers’ or group’s intent. The available reporting does not establish why the song was selected or how the edit was made.
