Anthony Davis’s Bel Air Crest mansion has reportedly sold for $32 million, according to TMZ’s July 9, 2026 report. The property was first listed in 2025 for $39.9 million, so the widely used “$40 million” figure was its asking price—not the reported closing price.
What happened to Anthony Davis’s Bel Air mansion?
TMZ reported that Davis’s Bel Air Crest estate closed for $32 million on July 9, 2026. The Real Deal’s July 9 search result also reported a $32 million sale, though the underlying transaction details here come from media reports rather than independently reviewed deed or MLS records. TMZ’s sale report identifies Jordan Cohen of RE/MAX ONE as the listing agent and Jacob Dadon of Carolwood Estates as the buyer’s representative.
How the asking price compared with the reported sale price
| Milestone | Reported figure | Source and date |
|---|---|---|
| Original asking price | $39.9 million | TMZ, July 31, 2025 |
| Reported sale price | $32 million | TMZ, July 9, 2026 |
The reported sale price is $7.9 million below the original ask. The Real Deal’s July 9, 2026 search result likewise described a $32 million closing and a $39.9 million original asking price; its report also cited a $31 million 2021 purchase price. That purchase figure is The Real Deal’s reported number, not an independently checked public-record figure. The Real Deal’s report
What was the estate like?
TMZ reported the home at 17,254 square feet and described it as an eight-bedroom estate. FOX 11 Los Angeles’s August 1, 2025 coverage, attributing property details to Zillow, reported eight bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, and 3.52 acres. Those specifications are reported listing details, not independently verified measurements in public records. FOX 11 Los Angeles

The reported amenities ranged well beyond the main house. TMZ’s listing coverage named an elevator, theater, game room with wet bar, wine cellar, gym, barber shop, separate lounge, lighted tennis court, pool, cabanas, outdoor chef’s kitchen, batting cage, fire pits, covered patios, a custom children’s playhouse with HVAC, and a wellness center with a plunge tub and sauna. Why the listing followed Davis’s Lakers departure
The listing coverage came after Davis was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to Dallas in 2025. TMZ’s 2026 sale report identifies him with the Washington Wizards after another trade in February 2026. The mansion’s listing and sale therefore belong to two different points in his team history: the 2025 listing followed his Lakers exit, while the reported 2026 closing came after the later move.
