Model Annalise Dalins shared secretly filmed footage of AFL player Josh Daicos proposing to her in September 2024. The clip shows the couple embracing and kissing before Daicos gets down on one knee; Dalins appears surprised, covers her face and hugs him.
What the proposal video shows
In footage reported by PerthNow on 17 September 2024, Dalins and Daicos embrace and kiss before he kneels to ask her to marry him. Dalins looks shocked, covers her face and then hugs him. The report describes the video as secretly filmed; it does not identify the proposal’s location or explain how the footage was captured.
Dalins’s caption and engagement announcement
Dalins shared the clip after the couple had announced their engagement on social media over the preceding weekend. Her caption, reproduced by PerthNow, read: “The biggest & best surprise of my life 💗 the moment my best friend asked me to marry him.” That wording is from her social-media caption, not an interview.
What was reported later about their wedding plans
The proposal and engagement date to September 2024. In October 2025, 7NEWS reported that the couple had postponed a wedding initially planned for 2025 and were then expected to marry in 2026 (7NEWS, 3 October 2025). ELLE Australia later reported that a November 2026 wedding was expected (ELLE Australia, 22 September 2026). Those reports describe plans as understood at the time; they do not confirm that the wedding took place.
