Anna Paul and Aymeric Urbain were reported walking through Sydney Airport together with luggage on 28 June 2024. PerthNow said Paul was travelling to Melbourne for a Paullie pop-up that weekend, but the sighting did not confirm that the pair were dating.
What was reported at Sydney Airport
PerthNow reported on 28 June 2024 that Paul and Urbain were photographed walking through Sydney Airport carrying luggage, then loading their bags into a large van. The report said Paul was on her way to Melbourne for a Paullie pop-up that weekend. PerthNow’s 28 June report characterized Urbain as a “rumoured new boyfriend”; it did not establish that they were in a relationship.
Why the relationship was described as a rumour
The airport report recalled that Paul had split from Glen Thomson the previous year and had already pushed back on speculation about Urbain. In a TikTok video quoted by PerthNow, she said, “Apparently this is my new boyfriend,” objecting to people speculating “just because we posted somebody we didn’t fully introduce.” The remark was a response to the speculation, not confirmation.
Pedestrian.TV reported on 16 July 2024 that Paul had described Urbain as a family friend and had said she had never really been on a date after her eight-year relationship. Its account likewise noted that the relationship had not been confirmed. Pedestrian.TV’s report

What later social posts did—and did not—show
On 10 July 2024, PerthNow reported that Paul had shared Instagram photos featuring Urbain and her family during a trip to Turkey. The publication described the posts as prompting more “soft launch” speculation. That phrase reflects how audiences interpreted the photos; the report did not treat them as confirmation of a relationship. PerthNow’s 10 July follow-up
What can be said about their relationship status
The cited 2024 coverage documents an airport sighting and the speculation around it, alongside Paul’s reported description of Urbain as a family friend. It does not establish whether they were dating then, and it does not establish their relationship status as of 8 October 2026. The accurate description of the Sydney story is a reported sighting with an unconfirmed relationship label.
