Films already out or past their dates
Hoppers
Disney describes Hoppers as an original animated comedy about an animal lover who transfers her consciousness into a robotic beaver so she can communicate with animals and protect their habitat. The voice cast includes Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan, Jon Hamm, Meryl Streep, Dave Franco, and Kathy Najimy. Disney has also said it was the biggest domestic debut for an original animated film since Coco (2017). That is a comparison of ranking, not a published box-office total, so treat it as the studio’s own assessment.
Toy Story 5
Toy Story 5 is a franchise sequel. Disney’s description says Bonnie’s world is disrupted by a tablet device called Lilypad, and the film is framed around the clash between toys and technology. Pixar’s official feature listing includes it alongside Hoppers among its 2026 films.

Forgotten Island
Forgotten Island is a DreamWorks Animation feature about two friends who stumble on a mysterious portal. Because the U.S. release has already happened, it belongs in a past-tense list. The international date is the one to confirm: TechRadar reports October 16, 2026, but that is a secondary source, and the distributor’s own territory listing should be checked before you publish or share that date.

The Cat in the Hat
Warner Bros. Pictures Animation lists The Cat in the Hat for November 6, 2026. The Associated Press describes it as an animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s children’s book, with Bill Hader voicing the Cat. It is the one film on this list drawn directly from a picture book, so readers looking for the original story may want to start there.
Hexed
Hexed is a Disney Animation film with a November 25, 2026 theatrical date, announced at Annecy in June 2026. Disney describes a teenage girl, Billie, who discovers magical abilities and is forced to team up with her cautious mother, Alice. Hailee Steinfeld and Rashida Jones voice the leads. It is an original magical coming-of-age story rather than a sequel or adaptation.
