Angus T. Jones was reported to earn $250,000 per episode of Two and a Half Men in 2010, and a CBS executive said in 2012 that he was collecting more than $300,000 a week. But the claim that Jones made “almost nothing” afterward is not established: public acting credits are limited, while his post-series income and finances have not been disclosed.
What Jones was reported to earn on Two and a Half Men
In May 2010, Guinness World Records reported that Jones earned $250,000 per episode. Guinness attributed the figure to a New York Post survey of casting agents, talent agents and television executives. It is a reported rate, not a published contract or verified payment record.
In December 2012, CBS president and CEO Les Moonves was quoted by CBS Los Angeles as saying Jones was “now making over $300,000 per week” and was still collecting that amount. That was a contemporaneous statement by a network executive, not an audited account of Jones’s compensation. It should not be treated as a full-year figure, a take-home amount or a lifetime total.
Why the show’s episode count does not reveal his total pay
A 2017 Nickelodeon/Paramount announcement gives the series total as 12 seasons and 262 episodes. That is a count for the show, not Jones’s personal episode count. His contract terms, actual payments, taxes, deductions and residuals are not established by the reported rate figures.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Multiplying a reported per-episode rate by all 262 episodes would therefore produce an unsupported total. The weekly figure Moonves cited is a separate statement from 2012; it cannot be combined with the per-episode report to reconstruct Jones’s overall earnings.
What Jones did after his regular role ended
Jones did not return as a regular cast member after season 10, according to Celebrity Net Worth. The same page says he appeared briefly in the 2015 series finale and had a cameo on Bookie in 2023. TV Insider lists a 2016 guest credit on Horace and Pete.

These credits document some screen work; they are not a complete employment history or a record of what he earned. Celebrity Net Worth also describes Jones as taking a business role at Tonite, but that does not establish an income amount.
Does he have a $20 million net worth?
Celebrity Net Worth estimated Jones’s net worth at $20 million on a page last updated September 14, 2026. That figure is the site’s estimate, not a financial disclosure from Jones. It does not show how the estimate was calculated or provide an accounting of assets, debts, residuals or income after the sitcom.

As a result, the available public information supports neither the headline claim that Jones made almost nothing after Two and a Half Men nor a precise claim about his present wealth. Fewer acting credits do not prove lower income: financial activity outside visible screen work may not appear in entertainment-credit listings or reporting.

In 2012, Jones publicly criticized the show. CBS Los Angeles reported Moonves’s response and reproduced Jones’s apology, in which he expressed gratitude and respect for the people he had worked with. At the time, the outlet said Jones’s status on the series had not been resolved. That contemporaneous account cautions against describing the departure as a simple, definitively documented firing.
