What happened to Amy Schumer’s $14 million home?
The property, at 19 Cranberry Street in Brooklyn Heights, was listed for $14 million in March 2025 and sold for a reported $11 million in December 2025, according to The Real Deal, citing public records. The $14 million was the initial asking price, not what the buyers paid.
Realtor.com reported that Schumer and Fischer planned to move back to Manhattan to be closer to their son’s school. In discussing the commute, Schumer said: “He got into a good school and we’re too lazy to commute 45 minutes to take our son to school every day.” That reported explanation gives context for the move, but it does not prove every reason for the sale or connect it to the couple’s divorce.

What was the Brooklyn Heights property like?
The Real Deal described 19 Cranberry Street as a four-story, five-bedroom townhouse built in 1829 and associated it with the 1987 film Moonstruck. Realtor.com described the home as roughly 5,500 square feet; that figure is the outlet’s reported description, not an independently verified measurement here.
In Realtor.com’s July 2025 coverage of the home’s size, Schumer described it as “a home that is just ready for more people.”
