American Horror Stories Season 4 has no confirmed release date, cast, story details or trailer in the official FX and Hulu materials reviewed. Hulu did announce five new tales for October 15, 2024, but described them as a Huluween collection—not as Season 4.
Is American Horror Stories Season 4 confirmed?
No official Season 4 announcement appears in the FX and Hulu sources reviewed for this update. Those sources do not confirm a fourth-season renewal, premiere date, cast, episode plots or trailer. That is a statement about the reviewed official materials, not proof that no announcement exists elsewhere.
Hulu describes American Horror Stories as a spin-off of American Horror Story and as a weekly anthology with a different horror story in each episode. The two shows are separate titles, despite their similar names. Hulu’s series page provides the spin-off description.
What is the Season 4 release date?
There is no confirmed Season 4 premiere date in the official sources reviewed. The date that can cause confusion is October 15, 2024: Hulu announced that date for five new American Horror Stories tales, but its announcement called them a Huluween collection rather than Season 4.

Separately, Hulu’s October 2023 schedule listed the series as S3, and its Fall 2023 slate described that release as a four-episode Huluween event premiering October 26, 2023. Neither listing establishes a Season 4 date. See Hulu’s October 2023 schedule.
Who is in the Season 4 cast?
No cast has been confirmed for Season 4 in the reviewed official sources. Hulu did name the following performers for its five-tale 2024 collection; the announcement does not identify them as a Season 4 cast:
- Michael Imperioli
- Henry Winkler
- Dyllón Burnside
- Debby Ryan
- Jeff Hiller
- Jessica Barden
- Angel Bismark Curiel
- Guy Burnet
- Victor Garber
- June Squibb
The names and collection framing come from Hulu’s September 18, 2024 announcement.
What stories or episodes will Season 4 cover?
No Season 4 plots or episode details are established in the official material reviewed. The confirmed series format is an anthology: Hulu says each episode features a different horror story. That format alone does not reveal what any future season’s stories will be.

Is there a Season 4 trailer?
No Season 4 trailer was identified in the official sources reviewed. FX’s current American Horror Story page features the mainline series, identified as American Horror Story: 13, and its trailer is not a trailer for the American Horror Stories spin-off.
Why are the 2023 and 2024 releases easy to confuse with a new season?
The spin-off has had Huluween releases, and the official labeling differs between the two examples: Hulu’s 2023 schedule explicitly lists S3, while the September 2024 announcement describes five new tales as a collection without assigning a season number. A release of new stories is not, by itself, confirmation that Hulu has designated it as Season 4.
For the latest confirmed status, check Hulu’s official series page and FX’s mainline series page. FX Networks Shop also lists general American Horror Stories merchandise, including a stacked-logo mug; it is not identified as Season 4 merchandise: FX Networks Shop drinkware.
