Prime Video did not continue it after its second season. The headline’s 92% is the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer for season two—not the score for the whole series.
What happened to Outer Range?
Prime Video canceled Outer Range after two seasons. Tom’s Guide reported the cancellation on July 4, 2024, fewer than two months after season two premiered. The report said the show ended after 15 episodes and left plot threads unresolved; its season-two ending did not feel like a series finale. That is the outlet’s characterization, rather than evidence of a planned ending. Tom’s Guide’s July 4, 2024 report is the source for the cancellation; an official Amazon cancellation announcement is not established here.

What does the 92% Rotten Tomatoes score measure?
The 92% is season two’s Tomatometer score, which reflects critics’ reviews. Rotten Tomatoes currently lists 25 critic reviews for the season. It also lists an 84% Popcornmeter score from 250+ audience ratings. Those are separate measures based on different groups, not scores to combine or treat as equivalent. Rotten Tomatoes’ season-two page provides the current scores and counts; they can change as reviews and audience ratings are added.
