All of Us is a 2026 documentary by director Marco Niemeijer and AssistiveWare about Ruby Bridges Elementary, a Washington State school that brings children with and without disabilities and support needs into the same classroom. The film focuses on inclusive learning; its available descriptions do not identify a particular assistive device or app featured on screen.
What is the documentary All of Us about?
The film follows Ruby Bridges Elementary and its approach to educating children with and without disabilities and support needs together. The official trailer describes it as “the story of a school that breaks the mold.” Watch the official trailer.
According to the trailer, the school opened in 2020. The trailer presents its first five years as evidence that inclusion can work without additional funding or staff, and characterizes the results as strong academically and socially. Those are claims made by the film’s promotional material: the available sources do not provide outcome data or an independent evaluation establishing results or causation.

What does the film show about technology in inclusive learning?
The available film descriptions establish an inclusive-education story, but they do not name or verify a specific classroom technology shown in the documentary. It would therefore be inaccurate to say that the film features a particular tablet, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) app or other product.

Technology can support access to communication in inclusive classrooms, but it is only one part of the picture. AAC includes ways of communicating beyond speech, from speech-generating devices to paper-based systems. AssistiveWare’s AAC resource quotes the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association: “AAC includes all of the ways we share our ideas and feelings without talking.” AssistiveWare’s introduction to AAC explains that iOS devices can be one way to make AAC accessible. This is general context, not confirmation that any of these tools appear in All of Us.
