Spoilers through the end of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga. There is no official, publisher-issued ranking of Sukuna’s forms. More importantly, the official reference pages available here do not provide enough chapter-level detail to support a reliable strength ladder. The clearest verified distinction is late-story Sukuna’s conflict with Fushiguro: VIZ describes Itadori trying to separate their souls in the final volume. That is a distinct condition to account for, not a reason to label every host state interchangeable.
Why there is no definitive ranking here
“Ranked by strength” sounds like a settled list, but the official VIZ pages do not publish one. They establish the series premise and publication details; they do not compare Sukuna’s forms, techniques, combat condition, or results. A numbered list presented as canon would therefore claim more than these sources establish.

VIZ’s Jujutsu Kaisen series page identifies Gege Akutami as creator, notes that serialization began in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2018, and describes Sukuna’s scattered body parts as central to the story’s premise. Those facts establish the setup, not a strength ranking.
What should count as a separate form?
A useful ranking must distinguish a change in body or vessel from a temporary condition such as injury or recovery. It must also compare what Sukuna can use and what he actually demonstrates, rather than treating every appearance as a new transformation. These are comparison criteria, not an official scoring system.

- Body or vessel: Identify whose body Sukuna occupies or what body he has, rather than using “host” as a catch-all label.
- Available abilities: Record techniques and tools shown to be available in that state; do not assume access from another appearance.
- Combat condition: Separate a distinct form from being wounded, depleted, or recovering.
- Demonstrated results: Compare observed outcomes, while noting when a result depends on a particular opponent or matchup.
Without those distinctions, a list can confuse “strongest form” with “best moment,” or treat a situational advantage as an overall measure of strength.
The late-story state that official material confirms
VIZ’s Jujutsu Kaisen, Vol. 30 page calls the book the final volume and describes Itadori attacking the seam between Sukuna’s soul and Fushiguro’s in an attempt to separate them. That confirms the late conflict involves both Sukuna and Fushiguro’s soul; it should not be flattened into an unqualified earlier “Sukuna in a host” entry.

The synopsis does not, by itself, establish a comparative strength score for this condition. Nor does it provide the chapter-by-chapter evidence needed to place it above or below other states. Treating the emotional or tactical stakes of the scene as a power ranking would be a different claim.

VIZ’s official chapter index lists the manga through chapter 271. Its Chapter 238 page is dated October 22, 2023, but an index listing is not a substitute for reviewing chapter content when comparing feats.

For the ending, VIZ lists the physical Jujutsu Kaisen, Vol. 30 paperback, ISBN 978-1-9747-6340-5, and Amazon among its retailers; check the current listing for availability. VIZ also lists Jujutsu Kaisen: The Official Character Guide as a separate reference book. Its character profiles and creator interview may offer background, but the publisher does not present it as a canonical ranking of Sukuna’s forms.
What not to use as manga power-scaling evidence
Bandai Namco’s Cursed Clash roster announcement includes Sukuna as a playable character. A game roster establishes a licensed game appearance, not comparative manga strength; gameplay framing should not be substituted for story evidence.
